This was a very special Bat Mitzvah - I was so blessed to be a part of this. Over the course of the year I had the opportunity to photograph Madison throughout Central Park and spent time with her mother, Marlee getting nutrition advice (she's a nutritionist) and planning the Bima and party.
The Bat Mitzvah party was such a blast, too! I always enjoy when both kids and grownups get on the dance floor and celebrate. The Horah was definitely a favorite but I especially found the family speeches touching and memorable.

"Elana did a fantastic job capturing the most important aspects of our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Not only did she take great pictures of us that we will treasure forever, but she also managed to photograph all of the details that we had spent months planning. In addition, she managed to get pictures of all family members and friends in multiple combinations and capture the different emotions at the party so well that my first look at the photos was through tearful eyes! My only regret is that we can't put all of the pictures we like in the final album because there are just too many fabulous shots!!!"
