All Aboard the Party Bus! What a crazy, fun filled day! Things were already in full swing when Lee and his groomsmen came to Kristina’s hotel room. First they had to perform some Chinese Wedding Door games. This is so the groom can “prove his love” and earn her hand. The bridesmaids blocked the door until the men ate Wasabi sandwiches and drink milk flavored with more….Wasabi. My eyes watered as I watched them! Then the men had to hang a banana around their waist and …

Then Kristina and Lee took their Bridal Party onto a private bus and had a blast as we made stops for portraits in Times Square and Brooklyn Bridge Park. More than half the fun was definitely had on the journey as everyone was celebrating such a wonderful day. When we arrived at Jade Asian Restaurant for the ceremony and reception, family and friends were ready to join in the reverie. The bride changed from her beautiful, white gown into a stunning red dress as they performed the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. It was an event filled with so much love and laughter as they infused old customs with their humor and energy. All the while, the food seemed to come out from the kitchen non-stop and the band kept the party going. All the arrangements and details were beautifully managed by Amy Katz Events. Definitely everyone from old to young had a blast and it was a great joy to be a part of it.
